>>5426529>Before the Covenant war, Karn would have acted much the same. But Chaya's actions here were logical, to an extent if you think it through.>And they're all dead anyways, she knows this world is slated for cleansing remember?I actually completely forgot that part, which explains why the Frieza Force pods were pre-programmed for Yardrat back in the BTFO canon timeline.
>And that wasn't Vox's fault, as he never pushed it on her. The only reason it happened at all is he hadn't remembered to remove Ace Hardlight's dispenser when Chaya moved into the Champion suite.Ah, so just standard carelessness. He's been dancing on the line for a while now. Almost as much as Kars and Shin are.
>>after all he's done and been through>That's a key difference. She's cleared less than a dozen worlds herself for the PTO, fought a single war against the Hive, and spent most of her time fighting for others' (and admittedly her own) entertainment. Thanks for this response, now I know it was my bias talking. It's hard to remember that we were as young and dumb as Chaya is being right now, before time travel, before the Covenant, before New Salda. Back when we were kicking it back by slaughtering Godzilla and destroying all the little Greys with no survivors. And even before the quest when Karn was doing the daily Tuffle extermination run on Planet Vegeta. All of that was before we hit it off with Meloka, had children of our own, inadvertently establish a strong and loyal relationship with the Saiyans and the Cold Clan, and met Towa, the Guardian, the Ctarl-Ctarl, the Tamaraneans, Raven, Ubo, Camali, B7, our students, and many more friends along the way. I bet that the Karn of today having children of his own would have done something very different than the Karn that defeated Killua Zoldyck on Boros' ship all those years ago.
Sorry for rambling, but point is that unlike Chaya we have the years of experience that rounded out our skills, improved them, and mellowed us out. And trust me, we did really stupid shit early on, picrel. It fucking hurts seeing the mistakes we've learned from a second time, but I'll be keeping a more open mind with Chaya, as she's a different person and is FRESH out of the galactic kiddie pool.
