>>6309169The new fiefs has caused some consternation among the Nixen, not so much the tales of what's going on in the cursed lands, but the formerly elven lands. These lands have long been held by the elves, Sturnes even has a large wall cutting itself from these lands. There is value in these lands, allowing Sturnes finally access to the sea, the subsistence settlements concern themselves more with fishing than hunting, but there is the question of what Adenai is going to do. The elves are a scheming sort, managing to dodge the consequences of summoning the Nachetar while still presenting themselves as civilized. There is concern that this might provoke another war, but we are also far better equipped now, unless they were to somehow convince Orcmanie to aid them. But ultimately, Queen Roza of house Waldetrudis can handle those rumors well enough due to them not having any solid proof for now.
>Action 1: Expanding the northwestern silver mine. With the metal in demand for both our own use and trade, Sturnes finally expands its silver mines, providing more silver for both uses. The mining town grows, with more toolsmiths and services like clothiers, butchers, hospitals, etc. Death tolls in the mines reduce while more work gets done every day, as the operation is brought up to a modern standard.
>Action 2: Prospecting for metal northwest of Emberglen. While Sturnes focuses on the mines they have, Emberglen goes looking for more metal, there is more than just silver and iron in the ground, though another deposit of either would be welcome. Prospectors once more gather along the river where all the mines are along, as panning is a common method of prospecting.
