“There waaaaaas… three of them!” Buu states cheerfully. “There waaaas a small one with spiky hair, a small one with a bandanna, and a tall one in a brown coat with purple hair.”
You get a sudden set of images in your mind. It’s… apparently from Turbo, as you look over to him and he gives you a thumb’s up before heading off. Buu’s description IS accurate, but more specifically, the trio… are familiar to you, though not quite the ones you know. The tall one in the brown coat looks a bit like Trunks, though lacking a sword and looking… kinda more like a well-meaning doofus, if you’re being honest. The spiky-haired one is the spitting image of your dad, but your dad as a kid, even wearing the same outfit as he used to. It… hurts a bit, but yeah, it’s not him. You can see why there might have been some confusion though. The last one is the most familiar, and if anything, you actually have seen her before. Pan? Yeah, that’s her, definitely. Bandanna, fingerless gloves, grey pants, shirt that mom always had problems with for some reason.
Huh. Maybe that is Trunks, or… a version of him… and maybe those were part of the Time Patrol? Well, in any case, not a lead on where your dad ended up. Still, Buu was looking out for ya, and he got the right idea. You wish Zarid well, and finally head off of Penguin Village with Buu. On the way back, you next check in with Tapion and Minotia, reaching out to them.
‘Ah, Gohan! It’s good to hear you’re doing well.’ Tapion responds to you.
‘Relatively so, at least. Still no luck finding any leads, in spite of Buu’s efforts. Still, some of our other allies are safe, so… silver lining.’
‘Grand Supreme Kai has apparently gone to check with the Supreme Kai of Time, but he still isn’t back yet.’ Tapion tells you. ‘Still, I would not give up hope, Gohan. It has only been a short while since it happened. It may take quite some time, but I’ve seen you and all your friends and allies pull off some of the most impossible of tasks, overcome some of the greatest obstacles. This will end up being yet another one, count on it.’
You smile. He’s right. This will be another challenge you all can overcome. ‘Thanks, Tapion. …Oh! Actually, one more thing you might find interesting.’

You have Buu grab on to your back, then place your fingers on your forehead to sense out where he is. And… there! “Kai-Kai!”
