You let go of your head and stand up, realizing that there is no reconciliation to be had. The rules by which you abide are in shambles. Things you detest mingled with things you love. There is no ignoring it. You need to reevaluate your views on things. On one side you have Family. A horrific, often dysfunctional family with skeletons in the closet that you won't be able to ignore now. But family none the less and you'll stand by it even if you betray your own views. On the other, Freedom. The skull and bones which you hoisted on your flag and will follow to the end of the world. Even if it means betraying your own sworn word and the only other thing you truly value above all else.
