ACTION: At long last, the move they sought comes to fruition against the heretics, and the great carrier that ferried them through space did exalt with fire profound and potent. The glassing beam of their superheavy Infernus pattern emitter scorched the Bellator, first piercing the coating of the shield, then melting its hide as it swept across the hull, transforming it into something hot, molten and red that glowed in the vacuum. The molten surface of its hull began to seep downward, searing more stations and bodies, like a condensate of lava pouring into the veins. The bridge of the ship was cloven, sliced in half yet by the sword of the Covenant, and the ship fell silent.
