Hey that's . . . Peculiar. There'd be no reason for this Umbra Pathfinder to be in active sentry stance. We haven't even stolen anything yet!
I guess Topasto runs a tight ship (heheheeh... sorry)..
But there's tight and then there's actively overwatching two students who seems to just be fishing.
Something is off with this Legion detachment. It's a sunny day and that woman is decked out in full combat kit. Body-blocking the solitary access corridor to the Warded containment. What are they keeping in there worth that? And I mean, yeah, Legion Discipline and Steel, you know, synonyms and all that, but you don't maintain an active guard posture in the middle of a floating fortress city inside your own borders. This isn't some border enclave where raider come swooping in. The worst thing these students will drag you into is a philosophy debate. What's she going to do if they get close? Tag a student with a shot?
... She wouldn't, would she? She sort of looks like she would. What the void.
I still don't understand why a Library has a garrison force of Umbra Pathfinders or a Scholae. Someone's gotta be paying staggering amounts of money for them to hang around and play cards. It's like setting a group of sheepdogs to guard a flowerbed.
Try to avoid getting in their line of sight, it's probably for the best if we just avoid them. if they're this stern about keeping up standards on a random day in the middle of the month I'd hate to see how they'd react to an active threat.
