> Learn Imp Spell
“I think Joe has a spell for imps I’d like to learn, another pair of uh, claws should come in handy. Probably going to settle in and read.”
Babs nodded in response. “I’ve got some reading I’d like to catch up on myself.”
Mel opened up the sheaf of papers she had recovered and started in on it with the cipher close to hand.
I'm starting to become aware of a difficulty in my research. There is a startling low number of me! It's terribly difficult to find time for things when one, what an appropriate term, can only be in a single time and place!
Fortunately I have a solution, I simply need to make more of myself! The spell should be quite simple, as always begin with a ring finger for any summoning spell. Peculiar choice if you ask me, but perhaps even demons and creatures beyond the vale are fond of a good marriage?
Such thoughts make my heart weary, best to hurry on. The choice of secondary bone is proving quite difficult, I thought for a time I was best exemplified by the kneecap, what a bone after all, but I'm beginning to fear that I may actually be more of a shoulder or even toe sort of person! What a terrible thing to be a toe!
My search for the perfect self bone has proven quite useless, but I do think I've found a rather useful assistant regardless, adding the bones of the middle finger to the mixture results in an angry feral beast I've come to call an Imp. Its claws are quite sharp, and it seems to veer dangerously from white hot rage to quite the wet blanket. Should I pass this document onto a future summon of myself (perhaps time travel would be a valid way to acquire more of myself?) I would be well advised to have some meat on hand when summoning, the creature is quite ferocious but easy to bribe into loyalty with a treat.
Indeed, future time shifted copies of me should remember that many summons have quirks or demands that must be satisfied to acquire their loyalty after summoning.
