>>5813951Rifle in hand, the part of a Ranger looked fitting enough on you. All that time working logistics wasn’t going to waste on this new profession. For one, you personally sourced the equipment that was passed over from the counter just now. The other was that there wasn’t much need to run the basics by you, though instead it’s heavily recommended.
You just lull around by some benches, pondering what to do. There wasn’t anything assigned to you, ARKS Defenders are mostly reactionary. It’s a change of pace you weren’t fully accustomed to. Go out of Central City, and explore the region? You were already familiar, but not from the outside of a transport truck. There’s probably something out there that needs killing.
“Hey, you doing anything? Hello?~” You look up at the person interrupting your idling. Probably a fellow Defender, as you so gleaned from her weapon. She had a sword, holstered up behind her waist unignited.
“What? You need something?”
“Yeah, I’m gonna go slay veteran DOLLS units. Didn’t look busy to me, so I figured why not? Wanna come?” She gestures rather casually, towards the gate. She’s setting off regardless of your company.
DOLLS. You’ve seen them before, but this would be the first time you engaged them. The general idea of what to expect from each type you might find is ingrained into memory, having had to repair transport trucks out in combat zones. Mostly your own. Never seen a Veteran before, or what that might entail. How bad can it be? She seems like she’d do it solo any other time.
>Go with. Might as well have company on your first outing.>Leave her be. It could be too much for someone new to handle.
