"Alright, we'll stop them." No one objects. Ella and Marley both seem a little shocked by your decision but they don't voice any disapproval or outrage. Isaiah just nods along with you; he understands when it is time for action. As for Alex, she just grins. You come to a stop before you've wandered too far from the institute. It's still within sight.
"It's not going to be easy," you continue. "It's almost midday in the middle of a city, we've got no idea when that truck's coming out or what direction it's gonna go in and we've got no way of keeping up with it without breaking the Veil. If anyone's got any ideas, now is a good time to share them."
"Lemme shift to Hispo," Alex insists, "I'm the best runner in this kinda environment. If you guys wanna keep up, you can follow me through the Umbra, I'll give you directions. That way, we'll only need to worry about one of us breaking the Veil until we're out of the city. I promise that I'll stick to rooftops and alleyways whenever I can, I won't let the muggles see me if I can help it."
"If we had a car, following them would be a lot easier." You're surprised to hear Ella advocate the use of technology. "I might be able to convince someone to lend us theirs. Does anyone know how to drive?" You and Alex both nod. "So long as we don't end up ruining it and can return it to its owner, that shouldn't cause too trouble for anyone, right? We won't have to worry about being seen in other forms or anything, at least until we have to start fighting."
"Couldn't we ask one of the spider spirits for aid? You've seen how quickly they move around, Sam. Aren't some spirits able to see the material realm from the other side?" Marley reluctantly nods at Isaiah's question. He doesn't seem that happy about this idea. "So we can ask one of Weaver's brood to track the truck for us. All we need to do is follow the spirit through the Umbra and figure out how we can pay it back."
"I've said before that working with the Weaver isn't something that Garou are meant to do. Besides, you'd still need to stop somewhere with a clear reflection so you could step back in reality." Marley holds nothing back as he pokes holes in Isaiah's plan as well as Alex's. "Look, chasing this truck around like this isn't going to work. There's no way that we can attack it in open daylight without risking being seen and breaking the Veil, even if we manage to follow it out of the city. If we're going to stop them before they get away, our only choice is to attack the institute right now. It's not ideal, but it's the only way I can see this working out."
