Sister Beatriz smiles, free of ulterior motives by your reckoning. "Oh yes, definitely! He would look cute playing with the other kids!" She seems to have realized her outburst.
"Ah, uh! Sorry, it's just that my heart goes 'squee' whenever I see children. Oh, I wish I can become an orphanage director myself and become like a mother to them all..."
Oh ho, so that's how she sees it. "I know, right? They just bring out the protective side of you." You finish your soup, and waited for Craig to finish his. It's true, you feel kinda protective of him. What with his absent mother and all.
Soon after Craig finishes his bowl of soup, both of you followed Bea to Patella Orphanage - which is basically next door from the soup kitchen. Already you can see some kids playing on the courtyard, and hear more running inside.
"Here we are, Patella Orphanage! I think as long as you don't enter any of the buildings, it'll be alright with the director. To the left is the main building, and to the right is the new dormitories - there's still some rooms inside that's being built, that's why the director closed the orphanage for visitors."
As you let Craig socialize with his peers, you wonder what to do next.
