The bustling metropolis of New Light was never a place for the faint of heart. Until the mist came along.
As the fog crept through the streets, it muffled the sounds of the city, creating an eerie silence that was only broken by the occasional honk of a car horn or the distant sound of a siren. Pedestrians wrapped themselves in thick coats and scarves as they hurried along, their breath visible in the cold air. The city that never slept now seemed to be holding its breath, waiting for the mist to lift and reveal what lay beyond.
But it never went away, the thick mist descended upon the city, shrouding its towering skyscrapers in a blanket of white. The streets, normally alive with the constant thrum of activity, were now eerily silent, as pedestrians and vehicles alike struggled to navigate through the dense fog. The normally bright lights of main street were muted by the mist, casting an otherworldly glow over the city that never sleeps.
As the days wore on, the mist refused to lift, adding an air of mystery and uncertainty to the already chaotic cityscape. With it, strange beasts came. Pale humanoids hungering for flesh. Survivors have started to gather and forming communities.
No military has been sent to help nor contact them. Is it up to each community to secure resources, food and water to survive. Rumours about escaping the city have started to spread. Some cling to these rumours as their only hope while the others seek to dominate this new world. Some just sink deeper into the madness of the mist, seeking to become part of it.
