The skies above Cantǒn and other realms is blessed with a single moon, Diadem, waxing and wanning with her smile in the heavens but steady in her size. Sometimes the jealous glare of her smaller sister can be seen in the background, but rarely amounting to little more than a particularly large star or coin-sized offshoot.
But on nights like these, the cold and distant second sister looms large and aggressive. Dwarfing her steady and dependable sister Diadem, the gaze of Diedre turns to the terrestrial realm so favoured by her twin. It is on nights like these that the Wild is most active.
You’re sure the scholars have their theories, that the extra light of a second moon aids the nocturnal creatures or that rays of energies disturb tide and creatures both. All you know is that a night of Twin Sisters spells danger for the Almighty-fearing man. It is a night where creatures of the Wild roam far from their nests, hunting grounds and hiding places. A night where goodfolk lock their doors and bar their windows, keeping a fire going for the whole of the night to be spent in the warmth and security of their homes. Even Aubres, the centre of Cantǒnian law and order, is not a place where a traveller would want to be alone on the road on such a night. You wonder if you’ll find the second sister was also prominent, if not in full bloom, on that night in the Langlish glade with Jess. You don’t very much like the possibility of there being some connection.
You leave Courageous Sky to his devices, still shrieking joyfully at the mock aerial combat he’s currently engaged in. Even if the significance of the moons is lost on the natives of Cathagi, you know it is not a night for men. A night of Twin Sisters on the eve of the Long Walk hardly bids well as a good omen.

> You head to bed early, even abroad and seas away from the depths of the Wild you feel little inclination to stay outdoors on a night like this. Best you put it out of your mind and get as much sleep as possible. The Long Walk awaits. [Haughty]
>You keep close to the fire in the main hall, passing time in quiet conversation with the other pilgrims of note that are also having trouble sleeping. Soon enough you make your way to bed, putting the tiredness to rest. The Long Walk awaits. [Hearty]
>You stay up through the night, virtually alone in the Salve Sanctum as all other pilgrims go to bed. Under the watchful gaze of a Knights Comitas sentinel and the ghosts of pilgrims before you, you pray. The Long Walk awaits. [Idealist]
