The Woldorian Mythic was gasping for air. Surprisingly, he managed to stand.
Seannsa and Catastrovania came back about, the Cat Goddess rolling her shoulders, ready for round two. Catastrovania held her blade steady.
King Mortsson raised his hand. "NAY! N-NAY! That will be good enough. I submit this duel to you as the victors. There is no reason to any longer continue this fight... gahhh..."
"Wise choice." Catastrovania said, dispersing her katana.
"Wassit' r'lly worth it in the end?" Seannsa asked, shrugging.
"Yes... It is better that one should wage war to settle their intense feelings and lose gracefully than it is for them to run away, no matter the situation. Though you have cost me great opportunity for honor, you have quenched my thirst for battle, ultimately. That I should fight the ones who felled my own mark and put up a struggle is enough. One should always acknowledge when they cannot win, even if they are a King..."
"If ye' say so. Now, cah' we run along?"
"Hahahaha!" King Mortsson laughed; "Yes... indeed. You are truly fearsome opponents. May you always see success in your battles. I am sure winning this bout against me has no doubt made you stronger. That will suffice to carry you along. Well, I shall abscond now."
King Mortsson bowed, and he ran along, off into the woods. Catastrovania sighed as she began walking ahead, the rest in tow following her. She was shaking her head, until she stopped and realized something.
"Wait!" She turned back, looking towards where the Mythic ran off to. But he was already gone.
"..."
"...How did that man know I increase my power by achieving victory?"
"Wah... Wait, yer right... I jus' caught that now too."
