As they released a warcry into the air the buzzer declaring the beginning of the match occurred. Over the air TalOS could hear the activation of the Stormbird that Fulgrim arrived in, taking flight. Just as this happened the numerous energy weapons of the Acillians and Astartes clicked to active, a powerful hum soon prevalent across their side of battle.
TalOS sent a series of communications and declarations to the groups present, but of all the commands TalOS gave one was definitive +My Sons, engage Shroudsalm, in honor of the Machine God.+
TalOS’s communication was a the switch that activated the systems of the Cult Members. The binaric chatterbox that was upon every Proelitor and machine began to give a feed of binaric chittering. Such chittering was a specific frequency set just for the planet of Lucius itself, which caused the water molecules in the air to begin vibrating. To his opponents and the crowd it looked as if the entire front of Astartes were covered in a thick layer of fog that obscured their vision.
As his sons marched forward and started firing TalOS and his cohort walked forward. The Primarch’s eyes looked upon the ship that was steadily coming across the battlefield looking for a preferred target for itself to shoot at.
For a moment TalOS wondered why Fulgrim thought it sound to bring such a vessel into their battle. Maybe there was some vanity there in that he was showing off, or maybe it was to buff his forces just that tiny bit more. TalOS did not care for he looked at a Machine whose spirit was not cared for in some time.
So he raised his hand, +Oh Machine Spirit, the one who has seen many worlds and many battles, do you truly wish to fight your creators? No, you do not.+
Such was the shuttle’s state that those words and a few data dijin were enough to coax the Machine Spirit into subservience. He watched as the turrets of the guns spun in place and the flight pattern of the machine was now starting to deviate off course from their little battlefield.
It was then that TalOS heard the starting of new engine motors. To his right ED1SON was manipulating his cogitator to feed the war-constructs instructions on how to best fight their enemies. Last minute adjustments like these were expected in an ever changing battle. It was when the last changes were made that the Acillian raised his arm, giving the air a chop as the Ursarax took flight.
