>>5664994The scene before you is chaotic. The Kingdom’s army, which had been planning to use the hill to march southward, has completely halted. Likewise, the Alliance’s army is also at a standstill. Both militaries have had their vanguards completely cut off. If Felix and the others weren’t killed in that explosion, they were trapped on that hill, and now desperately needed to either escape or be rescued. Just when you thought the situation couldn’t grow worse, you begin to notice something strange happening down below. The fire appears to be spreading rapidly, almost deliberately, down the western side of the hill. The flames continue to burn and extend out, looking as if they threaten to engulf the entirety of the western side of Gronder Field.
>“So that’s your plan, Hubert. If the Kingdom is blockaded from marching south or west, they’ll have to go east…through the Alliance’s army.” Damn that black-hearted fiend. Allowing him enough time to prepare the battlefield might be the biggest mistake made yet. Horns begin blaring from the south, and through the smoke and flames, you can make out signs that the greater Empire army is now on the move. And they aren’t the only ones. A rather large squadron of imperial pegasus knights cuts through the black fog. Based on their trajectory, they look as though they are going to strike the backline of the Kingdom’s army once afforded the opportunity.“Enemy Pegasus Squadron ahead!” Ingrid shouts. “Let’s take care of them!”
>“Wait! What about Felix and the others? They’re trapped up there, and the only way out is towards the Empire’s army. Shouldn’t we try and save them?”Ingrid shakes her head, looking perhaps somewhat unsure. “We have our orders! Lord Rodrigue said it was imperative that we defeat the enemy’s fliers before they could harass the main army. Felix is resourceful, he’ll just have to find a way to escape from that hellhole on his own!”
She was right, orders were orders. But the way things stood now, your squadron was the only one capable of saving the vanguard. It wasn’t just Felix up there. Many of your own men, including Sebastian and Roxanne were there as well. Could you leave them there to burn to death?
>A): Convince Ingrid to rescue Felix and the others first (CHARM x 2.5: Roll 1-60 to succeed)>B): Ingrid is right, we need to follow orders and remove the enemy pegasus knights.>C): Disobey Ingrid’s command. Fly over with your men and try and save the others.>In the event A wins and you fail to convince Ingrid, do you follow or disregard her command?
