Emil seemed nervous from the get go however, and the closer you get you come to realize why. Indeed it is Ubaid, but he is tied up atop his horse.
<span class="mu-s">"So! The kirsh returns to the sea! Had enough of pillaging, and ravaging poorly maidens?"</span>
<span class="mu-b">"Maidens? Maybe young men instead, I would think... but I already freed those women, what's the trouble now?"</span>
A rather odd looking trio, clearly Almhorads in demeanor but their style is more mixed in clothing. The bold speaking man is quite fancifully dressed with the finest horse you've seen yet, while the one minding Ubaid is heavily armored and bearing an array of weapons. The last, strangest of the bunch is clothed in heavy robes concealing much of him, as he constantly seems to be dripping water. Though that could be instead the hippocamp, the mythical sea-horse he is riding.
<span class="mu-s">"As you asked Tanaloa, I returned Farhana and gathered what you desired... however I was followed and accosted by these al'awghad!</span>
<span class="mu-s">"Ah, Tanaloa! A fine name to be remembered, finer than almuhtalayn!"</span> he trots his horse back around to Ubaid, striking him and rummaging free some cylindrical container before returning to you. <span class="mu-s">"What could you need maps for I wonder? It is no matter, you will have to claim them first... if you can meet my challenge!"</span>
Stowing the map case on his saddle, in bold proclamation and with a grin the fellow draws his sword which erupts into flames, fancying the look of himself in the process you suspect. Well this wouldn't be the first time in your life some humans of heroic or dastardly renown came looking for you, perhaps to stop your rampaging or simply for a challenge... or even on behalf of a rival god! Such is the case when rumors and gossip about an emergent sea monster spread around, people with something to prove come looking. Unfortunately poor Ubaid got mixed up in this, as the person most apt to find you again.
Though you wonder how involved you actually want to get...
>Challenge accepted! You will not back down, not from some pathetic humans. Meet the man in combat, hells you can fight them all if they will!
>This is beneath you... see if you can't free Ubaid, but otherwise make for the sea.
>Now hold on just a minute, you don't want any trouble! Surely this can be resolved peacefully?
