>Go for the bricks of coolant and memory. The Rookie Digimon, along with some Malware from Squid, should be sufficient to damage them. This will draw his attention, and you’ll have to contend with his wrath for a while, but it might make it easier to escape from him.
You point towards the storage structures. They're not too far from the door, and it might prove to be a worthwhile detour.
"Over there. If we can damage the partition, it should slow him down by a lot."
"You sure?" Bella asks, as Gazimon jogs along beside her. The both of them look worried, casting regular glances towards the four battling Champions.
[Yes! That'll do.] Squid confirms.
That's all Wind needs. He leads the party towards the numerous racks, already pulling out his packet gun. His first volley destroys a pipe, sending brilliant blue fluid oozing out onto the ground. You're left to wonder how coolant data somehow disperses physical heat, when all of this is virtual anyway.
The other Digimon have a bit further to run. The brief stutter in processing speed attracts the attention of DarkTyrannomon. In order to reach you, he tries to knock his opponents away all at once. He swings his head and smashes Kaus Gammamon out of the air, before whipping your partner with his tail and sending him into a wall. Leomon leaps onto his back and begins stabbing him with a sword, sinking the blade in over and over. The marauding dinosaur staggers backwards to try and flatten him against a wall, but his own dorsal spikes get in the way. The viridian plates cut into the polygons, forming a gap that Leomon hides in.
<span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-r">"ARGH! YOU PESKY RATS! FIRE BLAST!"</span></span>
An inferno races towards you and your allies. You shout a warning as your goggles calculate the trajectory. It's going to land right smack in the middle of your group and wipe everybody out. Gizamon is already curled up into a ball and rolling towards a vital chunk of RAM. Once he hits it, the world comes to a halt for a moment.
While the partition re-allocates resources, you're all stuck in that stuttering, gooey atmosphere. Many sets of eyes land on you and your crew, identifying you as the culprits. The fireball is still moving at a crawl, dragging out every moment of heat and layering a lifetime's worth of sensations over your cheek. You know how to move in slowed time, so you sprint away from it step by step, fully committing to every glacial footfall. The Dogs of War who catch on are also able to escape. However, not everybody is able to stay calm. Otamamon kid, Ryan's teammate for this mission, does nothing but flounder. He jerks back and forth rapidly, failing to gain any ground as his body's input interrupts itself endlessly. His partner urges him along, but neither can move away from the shelves.
