The one to open the door was a Custodian, of who TalOS quickly identified to be Trajen Valorus. As the Emperor and his massive form walked through the doors Malcador the Sigillite was walking behind him with his head lowered in reverence and respect.
As a Fabricator General TalOS felt such a thing was not normal when considering someone as your right hand. It must have been something else, maybe an act or play that Malcador was purposefully keeping himself small when in reference to the Emperor’s magnificence. He did not really need to do that as the Emperor’s psychic radiance was enough to overpower anyone’s senses.
Even TalOS was not immune as a Blank. It was simply that he felt it differently than everyone else. Instead of the feelings of joy and elation which were written across even Fulgrim’s face, TalOS felt the satisfaction of his soul’s essence being replenished.
The Emperor walked until he was standing next to his chair. Heavenly eyes scanning the room as he finished gathering the understanding of the situation. TalOS was sure there was more here than just a simple survey, the Emperor was likely reading everyone’s minds with the ease in which he drew breath.
Such mastery of his power only showed that the Emperor was dangerous, but also chosen by the Machine God to carry out its will. Let it if he likes it or not.
“Seat yourselves.” The Emperor declared with a soft tone that roused everyone’s spirit, “We will begin once everyone is ready.”
And like that a spell was casted. Each of TalOS’s brothers, of who were either angry, contemplative, or readying for a brawl did as they were told. TalOS’s eyes wandered and saw the feral grin upon Leman Russ’s face while Dorn and Guilliman were locked in stone. Horus held a cheery smile, which was joined by Magnus, Vulkan, and Fulgrim. The only two not to smile was Ferrus, and TalOS himself.
That might have been a minor mistake there. He was thinking too hard that he forgot to move his facial muscles. Too late now he would assume. He did not need to have anyone really paying attention to him anyways since the Emperor took his position just one seat over from TalOS.
The Emperor descended upon what was a marble gold throne with Malcador and Valdor flanking him at either side. TalOS risk the moment to glance at his uncle, who was also looking at TalOS with a slim grin. Knowing that none but his most observant brothers, TalOS and Malcador nodded to one another in respect.
