The only space series where I persisted for more than a few episodes and actually enjoyed it was always Farscape it had the Dragon Age bikini swamp lady also that strange episode where American astronaut man John Crichton only realised he was in a psychic hallucination dream when he walked into the ladies toilet (and dissipated the reconstructed alien illusion, because his subconscious mind had never ventured into a female toilet before) I swear this episode happened, for many years I thought it was a dream. Also there was the squid face tentacle beard man, I remember he had an intriguing plasma gun sword. I will probably have to rewatch that series at some point
