The Eldar looked upon TalOS with a sickened anger as they raised their broken blade into the air, “Oh Khain, come from the depths of your sleep to rid the Galaxy of the true foe!”
TalOS watched as a pit which laid behind the Eldar quickly erupted into flames which went across the room. Slowly something that could only be described as a Daemon walked out from the deepest fires with magma-ridden armor. It looked similar to the Eldar which stood before TalOS but only at a larger scale and with an unsettling anger that was hard to describe.
It was a God, a God manifested from the Warp of the Eldar and brought to reality. For its first action, as a reward to its spawn for summoning it, the Daemon quickly skewered the Eldar with its flaming sword as the cost of its summoning.
Such was the nature of Khain, the Eldar God of Murder.
The Steel Wardens followed TalOS into the room and took the flanks as a mental command went out to all of them. There was a subtle fear within the heart of TalOS as he faced a creature at the same caliber as those so called Gods of the Warp.
But he would prevail.
