The Warp to TalOS was a terrifying place to behold. If ever he had the chance to break away Humanity’s reliance upon such works he would do so in a heartbeat. It was however the only method of transportation the humans from the Dark Age of Technology could travel such a distance in such a short amount of time. Maybe somewhere there was an STC that allowed better travel but that was only wishful thinking.
For now they were trespassers in the realms of evil gods and malicious spirits.
+Oh Machine God, please bring us salvation.+ TalOS prayed as he brought his hands together for a moment, +May our arrival be swift and merciful.+
TalOS looked around himself and noted the distinct lack of UZ1 by his side at the moment. The girl had grown from what was a slightly withdrawn Tech Priestess to someone who was currently capable of leading a Company of Soldiers. She wanted some time in order to get her soldiers action ready which TalOS happily gave.
It still meant that TalOS was without a voice of reason by his side.
He then looked around himself some more, now face to face with his guardians. TalOS was not a fool, he knew that the Acillians saw it as the highest honor to be bodyguards for their Primarch. Currently it was whoever AL4N thought was best to keep TalOS alive at the moment and would be rotated out every few days.
His greatest Son was a brilliant man, TalOS knew. He might not have reached the heights of say T3SLA or ED1SON but the Acillian took care of his brothers as best he could.
As he looked into the armored helm of an Acillian the one beneath the helm finally spoke, +Is there a problem, Father?+
+I was thinking.+ Answered the Primarch as he grew a subtle smile, +What of you J4CK? What to you ponder as we walk these halls?+
The Acillians seemingly froze for a moment as he was called out. TalOS wondered what it might have been like if he did not have the Machine Spirits within his mind to keep track of who was who. If that was missing there might have been the chance he might not have been able to distinctly tell who was who underneath the helms. Or if one of them were being impersonated.
TalOS dreaded that thought the moment he had it. It was however a thought that will come. If the Plastoids were able to infiltrate Lucius like they had, could someone infiltrate the Acillians?
TalOS shook his head for another moment. This is what happens whenever he was in the warp. His thoughts would always start to get the best of him and he would thinking things that he would never consider. However they were always true to some extent.
