And so, you stand up, turn to your worried friend and give her a smile, accompained by rolling your eye. “Fiiiiiiine! I’m not gonna worship Anu. Happy?”
Her concerned look turns into one of surprise at your sudden decision, and the surprise soon fades into a relieved smile. “Oh, Hyeny...” She takes a deep breath. “Don’t scare me like that!”
You look at Anu’s eye on the ceiling. Somehow, you just *know* he’s observing you, so you take the chance to explain yourself to him. “Don’t take this personal, please. I just don’t feel like committing right now.” You then stare at your chest, the spot that Hawkodesh made his home. “I hope you aren’t mad at me either, bird buddy.”
“… … …” You get nothing but silence in return.
“Hawkodesh?”
