Seems like it would work well for a single or two person bounty hunter crew who prefer to carbon freeze their captures, or perhaps a similar two person crew of a Master and Padawan patrolling Wild Space for criminals and slavers. You could put the Carbonite freezing unit and supply in one container, and use another for the carbon frozen criminals, all while using the final one as extra criminal storage, a refurbished small prison area for people who can't be frozen, or just extra cargo space.
