You glance at the objects and decide that the staff interests you the most. As you walk over the voice continues. "It seems he's taken a liking to the staff. That was rather easy."
"No surprise!" Another deep male voice booms out, apparently coming from the direction of the void above the staff. "The staff is the perfect tool. Good for whacking, walking, and wizarding!"
"As if your simple spells could be called wizarding." A quiet and sarcastic female voice replies, it sounds like its coming from the direction of the cup. "Stop boy, take the chalice and you can discover true power."
"As if he needs some sippy cup. Come now boy, don't be distracted by these fo-" The Wand-guy continues, but is interrupted.
"Ha! I thought all boys wanted to play with their swords." A shrill voice which sounds like it belongs to an older man and coming from the direction of the sword. "Select the sword, boy, it's the only sensible option. Think, would you rather be the man swinging the sword or the one holding a cup."
"Or would you want to be the one with the gold?" A deep, hoarse male voice fills the room. "The men with swords fight for the men with gold."
