“Fiora, is it normal to see specters with this?” You need to know if you have to panic or not.
“Specters?” Fiora appears dumbfounded.
“Yeah, you know, like ghosts.” You don’t want to go into specifics to not scare her, but you’re out of options.
“The wisps look like ghosts to you? I guess you can interpret it as such. A cluster of energy is referred to as a Wisp in my teachings. To me, they look like smoke coming out from a train. Choo-choo! If you squint your eyes you’ll see!” Fiora shyly scratches her cheek. “Mom didn’t like how I described them… But it’s like a stream of something, isn’t it? So I thought it fit better.”
“They usually look flame-like to me, but that’s not what I’m getting at. This is different.” You’ll have to properly explain yourself. “Can the energy look like… uh… people?”
“People?” Fiora feels uneasy.
“Like, can it have a face, for example?” You throw the idea out there.
“Ohm, that’s an incredibly special case, mother said wisps with distinguishable shapes have a lot of energy concentrated. If it’s more than that…” Fiora is getting a little scared. “D-Does it look like my mom?”
“No, someone else.” You shouldn’t have said that.
“Let me see!” Fiora got too anxious not to check! You hand the goggles over. “AH?!” Fiora throws them up in the air from the shock! You catch them and put them back. “W-Who’s that?”
Okay, that’s not normal then.
“There’s a ghost here?” Kobashi asks nonchalantly.
“R-Right behind you.” Fiora admits.
“Like here?” Kobashi points to his side.
“T-The other side.” Fiora points in the correct direction.
“Here?” Kobashi doesn’t act afraid.
“Right there, yes.” You give him a thumbs up.
“Should I move? Call a medium? Let you handle it? Pass away?” Kobashi freezes.
You exchange glances with Fiora. This depends on you two…
