She’s battered and bloodied, with her clothes torn up, but otherwise, she’s still able to stand fully on two legs. “That was sneaky. I gave you a chance to run away and this is how you repay me? Not good, Blair. Really not good.” She grinds her foot into your head, keeping you fixed on the ground. “REALLY not good, Blair. I want to make this slow. I want to take my time cutting you apart inch by inch until you’re begging me to kill you.” She says through gritted teeth. You hear the sound of a Demonic Beast uttering a death cry form far off. “Unfortunately, I’m needed elsewhere, so I won’t have the privilege of doing you in myself. But not to worry, I’m sure she’ll make it sufficiently painful on my behalf.”
Monica lets her foot off you, and begins walking away from you, towards the front of the chapel, where the battle seems to be raging. You don’t have any strength left in you and can barely lift your head. Your vision is fading, and you’re suddenly freezing cold. To make matters worse, you can hear something behind you. Something that’s growling and getting closer. Your last thoughts before you blackout are where you went wrong.

“What the hell was that explosion?!” Corrine asks aloud. The axe-wielding warrior is currently clutching onto Kate on the back of the girl’s pegasus. Ordinarily she’d be at the front-line, but once she’d heard Blair was missing, it was a simple matter to sneak off and attach herself to the now leaderless Kate. Ashe had fought fiercely with her over who would ride behind Kate to search for Blair, but unfortunately for him, the pegasus wouldn’t budge with a male on its back.
“Magic.” Kate says. “Martha. Or Blair?”
“Well let’s get down there then! Get this damn thing moving!”
“Trouble.” Kate says. The area is covered in mist and dust from where the section of the chapel exploded. It’s hard to get a clear view down there, but the girls are able to see one thing clearly. There’s a Demonic Beast in there, and it’s lurching closer towards something.
