>>5724894You did!
>>5724896>Yeah I'll bite, if it's not too spoilery what did the dice screw us out of regarding her.Amongst other things, you would had some alternative options about how to deal with the coming fight at Garreg Mach, as well as the identity of several of the Sages
>Consequences of failing that Leif diplomacy roll? The main goal of Blair's conversation was to get Leif to turn around. Getting him to join forces with you would have been a bonus. Failing the roll would have gotten him to close diplomacy altogether and continue on the march, leaving you with no choice but to duel.
The way the conversation with Leif worked was that there were three pieces of dialogue, and three dialogue choices you could make. To get Leif to back down, you needed to make at least two of the right choices. One of the three choices would continue the conversation, while the other choice would outright close negotiation altogether.
Incidentally, you made a convincing argument here
>>5715377The C) option here would have been a dud. It would have been coming off too strong too fast. A would have ended it altogether since Leif doesn't believe in any of this supernatural shit, even if it's true. Since we also got the right choice in the next round of dialogue, then you were able to now make several suggestions to Leif instead. Either getting him to back down in one of two ways, or risking it all to get him on your side.
>What would the Sreng reaction be if we swept the tournament? Was Clay even in danger of dying to Manus?Wouldn't be too different since they saw all their fighters get beaten soundly. Their win was a technicality and they know it. As for Clay, I don't think so. Pretty sure only really bad RNG would have done him in.
>Did we pick the best "comforting Ingrid Choice? In the beginning of the thread, there was really nothing you could say that would snap her out of it. In the second try, you did get her to join you. Whether that's the best choice to make remains to be seen.
>Would a similar plotline to this have happened if we went to the Alliance. I can kinda see it being adapted to the AlmyransGoing to the Alliance would have had you dealing with House Gloucester, who'd held back a number of their forces from fighting in Gronder. This would include Lorenz. You'd have been dealing with them as they potentially try to renegotiate their way back into a position of power now that Claude was MIA.
>6. We'd lied outright about having the slither book, what would the consequences have been?Maeve knew exactly who you were and wasn't about to let you get away. She'd have been fucking with you regardless, and in more subtle and underhanded ways.
>Please drop Cormac stars I wanna see if Blair actually had a chance against himYou're going to see them soon enough. You'll be fighting side-by-side at Garreg Mach. I'd say he's only a tad weaker than Rex. Astra would also proc based off his Speed. Hard, but not impossible.
