"<span class="mu-s">We'll take the mask when we get out of here. The others back at the caern might know how to destroy it safely.</span>" Alternatively, Farsight Salazar might be interested in studying this artefact. By giving him the mask, you might earn the favour of the Uktena. "<span class="mu-s">Right now, let's wreck this place. Trash everything, leave nothing that Pentex could use.</span>"
Alex doesn't need to be told twice. She smashes the cart full of machinery against the wall, shattering screens and demolishing delicate devices. As for the Metis, he unleashes his fury on the operating table, mangling it until there's nothing left but a heap of ruined metal.
Next, you head to the control room. Just in case the CCTV footage is saved on the machine rather than the servers, you ask Alex to get the hard drive out first. She's not that familiar with computer hardware and requires some instructions from you but as soon as she's fished out the drive, you trash everything else in the room and leave behind a chaotic mess of wires, circuitry, plastic casing and broken furniture everywhere. The offices suffer a similar fate.
It takes a little more time to deal with all of the materials that they've got in storage. Each steel drum seems to contain some sort of disgusting substance, from crude oil to congealed grease to coagulated blood. There's even a couple that are full of human waste. The only way to get rid of the contents of these barrels without flooding this floor is to pour them down the floor drain, one after the other.
"<span class="mu-s">We're done,</span>" Ella lets you know through your mental connection. "<span class="mu-s">There's just seven patients. A couple of them are unresponsive and the rest are... They're not well, Sam.</span>" You're not surprised. This is a psychiatric hospital after all, the people who are kept here are guaranteed to be mentally ill, especially in this part of the institute.
"<span class="mu-s">Good. We're just finishing up down here. How's Isaiah doing?</span>"
"<span class="mu-s">I'm fine.</span>" The Amish boy's thoughts are clouded with pain and frustration, but they're still legible. "<span class="mu-s">I'm up in the staff lounge, making sure that all of the monsters who worked here are dead. No one's touched your computer, by the way.</span>" Everyone who worked in this part of the institute played a part in this horrific conspiracy. Death is the least that they deserve.
"<span class="mu-s">But what are we going to do with all of these people? We don't have anywhere to take them and... maybe we should just leave them here. The hospital will look after them, right?</span>" Ella seems a little shaken.
"<span class="mu-s">Fuck that,</span>" Alex retorts, "<span class="mu-s">there's nothing to stop them from just starting this shit all over again. Besides, how do you know that Autumn won't just send them to another hellhole where they can be 'enriched?' We should take them to a local shelter or something.</span>"
