>>5829613"It's further down in the tunnels, but we're getting close. The signal is getting stronger in that direction." The pink salamander-looking person states, pointing in the same tunnel you came through to this room and not anywhere near your position. Based on the sound of his voice, you guess that he's the Marimo guy. The group of primitive amphibians marches forward while dropping smooth pebbles on the ground, keeping track of their path. Finally, a lucky break! You slink down as soon as you can't hear their footsteps, and follow the very convenient trail they left behind in the opposite direction, making your way to the end of this lame place. You're not sure why they might be looking for you or for something else, but it sounds a lot like a problem you don't need in your life right now. A few minutes of carefully tracking the stones later, and you finally see daylight when you make you way out of the cave opening, perching on a cliff. But the scene around you is unfamiliar. The first thing you see is that the sky is blue instead of purple and missing a second sun.
"Damnit, which solar system did those jerks even dump me to?!" You groan in frustration. Your home planet, Namas, orbits the twin stars Casa and Nova in the Ventaly system. These complete and utter psychos dragged you off to who knows where and experimented on you on some sort of backwater planet! You want to punch something, and that's exactly what you do. With no nearby trees, rocks, or anything other than the ground, you drive an angry fist to the stone ground with all your might. But instead of bruised knuckles, the floor shifts, revealing several criss-crossing lines starting from a fist sized indent in the ground. Oh.
Your anger fades away into astonishment at your newfound strength. What exactly can you do in your strange new body? You survey the scene again, and not too far from your location you see an old looking settlement nearby at the base of the mountain. But to the west of that village are some enormous looking trees further from there. To the horizon, you think you can make out many other villages and an ocean too far to get to by foot. And strangely enough to the east, you see a dark grey mass of clouds obscuring your vision, touching down on the ground and walling off the rest of the world.
But where the heck should you go anyway?
>To the nearest village. It would be good to find some sort of civilization, crude as it is. Maybe you can ask for help?>To the trees. You're not sure about people, or how they might react to you, so keep a low profile>Investigate the strange clouds. You don't know what could be in them, but it would keep you hidden in case anyone else is looking for you.
