>>5735016There were a thousand questions in her mind, most she discarded as a waste of time. What is this place? How did you create this? Who, no, what are you? She'd always believed in the tales of strangeness she heard from the many mercenaries she'd worked with. Creatures of dark and nightmare, occurrences unexplainable by sane means, wizards and witchcraft. Call her superstitious, but it added just a bit more excitement to a life known by many to be brutal and fleeting.
"So... stuff like this really exists?" She tried to put a smile past the discomfort, knowing what this handsome man truly is behind it's glamour. "It's nice. It really is, I'd missed this. The fairs and the music, being young and dumb."
There were more than a few moments spent just drinking it all in. Of course she took a moment to admire her old self as well, you don't get this opportunity every day. "But nice as it all is, I can't stay for eternity. I'd miss something more important to me than my happy livin', ya know? Ah... maybe ya don't."
She remembered being around this age when she first left for the badlands. At a fair too. She'd been offered a dance, and refused with a kiss to start a new life. "Speakin' as a child of the earth, my lips are sealed. I'd even offer a peck to seal the promise if you're so inclined, Rasp. Enjoy the fair for me, eh? I've got to get living."
