You knew you should have burned its flesh with your Mark, shot some web into its eye to blind it, or really, done anything at all other than struggle feebly in its grasp. But the whole thing had happened so fast that you couldn’t properly react to any of it. Your life had always been a weird one, but this was beyond any of your expectations for the night.
Perhaps sensing your intent to cause it harm, the giant elephant lifted you up even higher and threw you back into the stands. Your back exploded in pain as soon as it crashed into the seats where the audience had just been sitting.
You groaned and blinked several times, struggling to untangle yourself from the bent metal and plastic of the ruined seats, when multiple shadows fell over you.
Without even realizing it, you had been surrounded by the hypnotized victims of the deranged circus troupe. Where there had once been blank, neutral expressions, you saw eyes filled with indescribable rage and balled up fists. And what was worse, you saw your teammates and prospective lover standing among them.
<span class="mu-g">“Change of plans!”</span> the man in green shouted, his voice still amplified, if not slightly distorted, by the large screen overhead. <span class="mu-g">“I will need some volunteers to stay behind and deal with this petulant pest of a man!”</span>
His circus troupe laughed mockingly as they turned and prepared to leave you to your fate.
What will you do?
>Use your remaining web bombs to detain the hypnotized victims.>Crush a garlic pepper pellet in your hand and throw it into the eyes of your assailants.>Leave these guys to Flint and go straight for the Ringmaster again.
