Two darkly cloaked figures are chasing after a man and a young girl through the woods. They move in to attack him, again and again while he does his best to fend them off with a wood-cutting axe. All the while he focuses on pushing the little human girl ahead of him through the snow. You certainly don't recognize any of them.
You forget about the numbing cold in your legs and withdraw your sword. “S-stop fighting!”
Your commands seem to startle both sides, and as you push closer, Lufan finally turns back and scurries onto your body. He greedily nestles within your coat to keep warm.
“Who the hell do you think you are, little girl?” A woman’s voice from under the dark cloak and points her blade at you. “No wait… It’s one of those fucking Elin.”
“The ones from the Pit?” Her counterpart chimes in.
“Maybe. But we should kill her regardless. Don’t worry, we didn’t forget about you and your kid, old timer.” The cloaked woman laughs cruelly.
“Like hell…” The father steadies the axe in his hands as he positions himself between his daughter and his two attackers.
Having heard enough, you point your blade at the criminals. “I am Aloé, recruit of the Velikan Royal Guard. If you don’t surrender immediately and put down your weapons, I will use force to make you.”
Both cloaked attackers laugh at your words. “Cute, but we got a bunch of your kind tied up in fucking hole. We’ll toss your dead body with them.”
Your eyes lock on your two enemies as your hand tightens around the hilt of your sword. "Last warning. Put down your weapons and surrender!"
"Alright, we're done hearing you yammer." The cloaked woman looks to her partner before they both move in for an attack.
In order to protect these two humans, you'll have to subdue or kill these marauders. If this is why you had to get off the ship, then that's perfectly fine. You'll take the trouble, so long as this father and his daughter don't get hurt!
