As you are escorted from the pavilion through the gardens to the palace, you see the philosopher Hieronymous Erde being shoved unceremoniously by another detachment of guards into joining you. He is attempting to cower behind the form of another, but with the jostling of halberds and armour you cannot see him too clearly.
The panicked philosopher is shouting and pleading:
