You’d mastered the art of making it look like you were drinking while getting everyone around you drunk from watching your father do it in this very restaurant countless times. It made you look generous while also keeping you in a right state of mind to then probe for whatever you liked.
As a noble, Tsukuya had of course been to events like this and so was used to the taste and effects of alcohol by now, but she wasn’t viewing this like you were - she was genuinely celebrating, and so while she was far from drunk, she was certainly feeling something from the blush she had on her cheeks.
Shin also held up surprisingly well, probably owing to his size. You also suspected there was a possibility he had had alcohol in the Rukongai, but simply hadn’t known what it was at the time. Still, he was like Tsukuya, pleasantly buzzed but still not what you would call drunk.
The surprise to you was Kazeko. You’d half expected the girl to refuse alcohol entirely, but she actually took to it like a duck to water, being the one to drink the most and the quickest. It took a surprisingly high amount for it to hit her, but hit her it certainly did, the girl clearly drunk from her red face and dopey smile.
