Despite her wizard's coaxings of mortals into service with silver tongues and honeyed words, the Lindwyrm on the whole is far more brutalist in her indoctrination and subjugation of life. Such methods persist in her little soldiers, as they begin subduing the great beasts of the jungles in sheer numbers, before slamming these beast helms on their head. It takes some time, and not an inordinate amount of "discipline", but eventually even these fully flesh and blood beasts bend their knees and lower their haunches to the walking pottery displays. The work on aligning the spacial magics of the Gate of Hell was the breakthrough needed for Kentrose to continue her work. Taking familiar principles of accretion, she began to see how these gatherings and scatterings could be used to great effect in aggregate. Even applying to things beyond the grasp of most other mortals not her or Star-Eyes. Now came the task of miniaturizing it down from a super-structure sized building, and refining the fundamentals.
And what better first step, than to help her Lady in the fashioning of the great weapons the dragons' armies will use to rend the surface world? These generators of death allow for the perfect testbed of her techniques, and after some time sitting and blasting the errant Pallipod, crab, or kosk, the runes finally have reached some degree of standardization.
