With several maids ready to tend to her needs, a maid comes by and offers an omelet with a side of eggs and bacon to William. Seeing the delicious breakfast he gives his thanks before settling down on the table and digging in as he turns to Hellscream.
“Morning Hellscream. Had a restful night?”
“Ugh, I had weird dreams about fox girls and a droning narration from a nature documentary describing politics.”
“Sounds like an eventful dream and you learned a bit from the book.”
“I learned nothing and didn’t bother with the notes.”
“I guess I can help you with another history session.”
“Oh god no, I will get the bottle spray on you.”
“You think water can stop me?”
“I will get the hose.”
“Okay maybe that will stop me.” Says William as he stuffs his face with breakfast.
“But still about last night thank you for the entertainment even if it was torture.”
“I can find worse books. Next we will learn language arts and Divas language.”
“I don’t want to speak fox.”
“Think of the future opportunities if you ever met a fox you would impress them with your understanding or funny accent.”
“You somehow make learning seem worse.”
“I aim to break expectations but anyway see you after school or at schools. I got some friends to catch up on.”
“Sure, sure don’t get stabbed.”
“I cannot promise that later.” Says William grabbing a bagel to go as he leaves.
Giving a quick call to Virgil and Muffin to meet him at the workshop to begin training and production as a with roger and kay messages greet him in response. The morning concrete, subway, and trees blur together as William taps his fingers against the subway as he looks forward to seeing what Muffin could create as makes his way through the school’s later hours. And what knowledge Virgil can give him to throw a punch. Muscle memory lets him reach the library easily as he gives Alice a quick wave as she gives a quick wave in response before melting back into the books.
Entering the workshop as Muffin shows off a blueprint as she gives animated gestures of her arms and gives a few exaggerated swings. Trying to apply theory to practice as Virgil shakes his head and adjusts her footwork to have a better balance. Adjusting her position Virgil shows a quick swing while keeping his arms near his body to avoid overextension and better protect his body. Clicking the door closed as Virgil turns and greets William as Muffin writes down notes with the new adjustments.
