The Omnissiah paid witness to his child, taking a moment of thought to realize just who it was he was about to bring into the greater fold of the Universe. In truth at the beginning the man known as TalOS was terrified of his own progeny. Not that they would overpower him, but that none of those at the present time could properly teach them.
Without proper teaching their damnation would have been assured. The Chaos Gods taking pieces of their faith and technique to slowly corrupt them into a final vector that would spell the damnation of several worlds. The Worshiper suspected this and even thought it could be greater from the xenos techniques that were witnessed by him. Thus he banished them from his view to those who he trusted.
In this moment, the Worshiper realized that he was once again reunited with his wayward sons. And seeing them here today gave his already strong heart a burning of emotions.
“That is I, Cassidus.” The Omnissiah spoke as he held the soul tight for a moment, “I am proud of not only you but all of your brothers for what you have become.”
The Soul, in what should have been its final moments, glowed with awe as it paid witness to who it was he spoke to. An acknowledgement that was long since denied given as an answer to the child’s deathwish. None would deny its value in it.
“My Son, I ask you, will you be willing to fight by my side? To fight back the terrors of the warp so that others can stand tall?”
The Soul did not waver as it spoke, “I shall.”
“Good.” The Omnissiah said as he placed the soul back into the body of the Fallen Astartes.
Green lightning erupted from the body as the Astartes slowly rose from his demeaned position. In a bound he rose upon his feet and raised his hands high into the air to call upon the psychic energies that were still at his disposal. He was no longer bound by the simple restrictions of a mortal soul and body, his body given a new form under the watchful eye of the Omnissiah.
Green power infused the Custodians before him. Lightning danced across their armor as it shocked the incoming Daemons with a baneful fury. A few of them even dissipated from that simple strike as the Machine God watched to witness such an act.
