> You can probably find it yourself, look for Tog the Kobold.
> Ask Rakta to find him, she feels uncomfortable here too, so if anyone was helping him, it was her.
Knowing what the kobold had been doing, it might be best if you went looking for him directly.
Cedalion could wait.
You left the cafeteria with a quick farewell and considered your options.
You had a vague idea of where Tog could be, there weren't that many places where someone could access the underground.
But covering all that area would require more time than you had.
You considered asking Flora for help, surely she had some spell to locate creatures quickly.
But knowing her tendencies there was a chance that it would bite you in the ass in the future.
So you decided to turn to the other person who was actively keeping the chimeras away.
Rakta's room was a little further from the center of the building.
She had blocked the few corridors that gave access to it,
and it was another of the few places where the chimeras that acted as your "bodyguards" did not enter.
After several incidents, Cedalion decided to give her space.
Jumping a small barricade and avoiding a booby trap, you arrived at her door.
You knocked on it and waited in silence.
Some minutes later and after the sounds of suffling inside stoped, it finally opened.
You were greated by the tyr woman wearing a pink robe and forcefully keeping open one eye.
behind her you could see and unhealthy amount of weapons at arms reach.
"Its very early. Are we purging the abominations?" She asked in a monotone voice
"... not yet. Where did you find a bathrobe?"
"Anon, Qothos love is runing thin. What happened?"
You decided to make it brief, telling her about the missing kobold and asking if she knew where to find him.
"Yes, he comes here from time to time.
He has been squeezing between some walls to explore some maintinance tunnels.
Give me a minute to get dressed."
....
One hour later and you were both in the depths of some partially collapsed tunnels.
Surrounded by tangles of pipes and cables.
The concrete walls were cracked by time and war.
There were also various chalk marks on the walls.
Rakta explained to you that they were mining signs,
that was how the kobold would avoid getting lost.
You passed several strange areas while following the most recent-looking trail.
menacing doors of iron and rust that blocked the way to the slight sound of moving water,
Pinkish clouds of cobwebs covering entire tunnels
And a large chasm in the wall with jagged pipes covering its walls where you would swear to see some light at the end of the tunnel.
At the end of your journey you found the reason why the kobold had not returned.
a mountain of rubble blocked the tunnel.
If he had been trapped below he would be dead,
if he was trapped on the other side...
