Can’t believe someone like her’d like me, especially not one who I liked too. And it all happened so quick… dunno what I did, but I musta done somethin’ right.”
You hear… she would probably say it was undignified if she ever heard you calling it that, but you hear what is undeniably a squeal coming from behind you. You sigh, before swivelling around, seeing that Tsukuya’s focus had been completely broken, her face flushed and red and the girl looking completely flustered. “You heard that, huh?” You said with a shaky grin, feigning surprise and embarrassment. She nods, and you look at her for a bit longer, before sighing, scratching your cheek. “Well, you ain’t gonna make any more progress like that, so… Come here.”
She takes her time, shakily standing up, before slowly walking up to you. You raise your left arm, wrapping it around her shoulders and pulling her into your side, and the girl practically melts into your embrace, her hands then wrapping around your waist and her face going into your chest.
You look back at Shin, who’s watching with an eyebrow raised and a smirk on his face. “What’re you starin’ at?” You grumble, pretending you’re annoyed at a spectator. “Get back to work.” He laughs and shrugs, going back to swinging his zanpakuto, while Tsukuya takes her face out from your chest and looks at you.
“Did… did you mean that? Do you actually…”
>”I might play around a lot, but when it comes down to it, I mean what I say. You know that.”>”Um… yeah. I think I did mean it. Sorry, I’ve never really… had this before, so it’s hard for me to know.”>”I mean… I do like you. But I’m not sure it’s like this.”>Other (write-in)
