>>5737556>What are the dos and don'ts for a newbie QM?Don't overplan, at least not to the extent where the players going 'off-script' fucks with dozens of pages of documents and makes you want to quit.
Don't get overly finnicky with systems and settings unless you're REALLY into micromanaging numbers, and keep most of the math and mechanical fiddling on your side of the screen, not with the players.
Have a plan to counter vote fraud if your quest gets popular enough for that to become a real risk on contentious votes.
Shut down assholes and pushy players early, before they become a poison pill and drag everyone into a whirlpool of bullshittery.
>How would you turn your favorite quest into a space opera?Dragon Ball: Legacy already HAS space aliens, so I guess it would just be a matter of going off-world. Slice Quest has lots of room to go all kinds of places, but the basic plot happening on a spacefaring "party barge" or colony ship could have a very neat feel, like Jason X or one of the wackier Alien sequels or something I guess. Path of the Exorcist would just have a battle over a holy world in lieu of a holy city, I guess, with the Veil and the world of spirits feeling quite a bit like 40k's warp, I suppose.
>What’s your opinion on reboots?I prefer to see a continuation, or a new quest, to the feel of 'treading old ground' as it were. If it's for a quest I didn't play the first go round, or is sufficiently different from the original to feel 'new', that's a whole other kettle of fish.
>What is something you want your QMs to write about / elaborate further in their quest? And what do you want more from those QMs going forward?A bit more slice-of-life and character interactions would be very fun and cute in Dragon Ball: Legacy, where I like all the characters quite a bit but the breakneck pace DOES mean we only get little glimpses into their life. I feel like we haven't talked to Harum in forever. That said, I enjoy the speed much of the time, and the focus of a Dragon Ball quest being on combat and training makes sense, so I'm not terribly bothered.
