If there was a second of which TalOS used to collect his thoughts he did not show it, “I believe the work you have presented already speaks of your talents. I think it best to show people the good and bad, while letting the bards evangelize the story.”
Rogal held onto TalOS for a moment in case more words needed to be said but none did come. With that courtesy given the man simply nodded to his brother, “I thank you for those words brother, they have set my mind at ease. There will be many others I need to talk to before I attempt this art.”
“Other people who knew him in life?” TalOS put forward as he examined the limb.
“Yes.” Rogal answered simply as he encased the hand back into its container, “I only knew one of the many sides of my Grandfather. It is best that I start with the family and then move to the subjects who served under him. If something is revealed, it will be made known.”
There was a slight solemnity within the voice of Rogal Dorn as those words were said. He knew the weight of digging into someone’s past will reveal things that person most likely would hate to have revealed. As the Eulogist though TalOS’s brother cannot avoid such things, and will lose some heart because of it.
TalOS thought to himself if there was a way to recover the mood and the solution was quickly found. He reached into his gear and took out a small holovid display that was always held for situations like this one. After pressing a button the item activated to reveal a planet.
“As you have shown what you have been working on, this is mine.” TalOS said as he placed it upon the work station next to Dorn, “This is Ramistine, a planet that will soon be given to the hands of Duke Ramis for his service in the reconquista.”
The Imperial Fists eyes glanced upon the display for a long moment. TalOS watched as the movements subtly changed from a mountain range to a long river that ran into a fertile crest. They continued to look at the freshwater ocean and the vibrant forests that dotted several places of the map.
“This is interesting.” The giant said as he rubbed his hand upon his chin, “This is a reward for assistance in conquest? Is this one of the Knights who warmachines walk among my Legion’s Auxiliary?”
“Yes, I think it is a more rational reward than many others. It holds benefits for those involved.” TalOS admitted as he sprung the globe around with a wireless connection.
