You send word that all Guides are to come to the office, and they come rushing to obey. It is fortunate that the 'office' is a large room, but it's a tight fit with all the Guides and Seneschal Hanbei with his clerk.
"Let's get down to the brass tacks, goats. We got work to do!"
You set out the tasks and then watch as the Guides organize who goes to what team. You've long since realized that your Guides are few in number. There are only seven full-fledged Guides who earned their Guide Stick; the rest are apprentices or journeymen still in training. Hanbei states that because being a Guide is dangerous, many quit in the middle of training to take up a different Trade. A good number of your Baphomets in Camelot have rudimentary knowledge and training, so you could technically dictate that some of those semi-trained change their Trade.
"Hey, where's Fatty? I mean, the Guide who went wyvern-hunting with me and the Longship Meeps."
You lost the gun, Peacemaker; you wanted to make it up to that luckless Baphomet. That's when you learn that he's gone back into training as a journeyman under his former master, the 'Marauding Guide,' who is part of the Anarchist faction. It's interesting to learn that the Anarchists still train Baphomets interested in becoming guides or give pointers to their old guild comrades.
So you only have six veterans right now... Yatagarasu will be your personal Guide, so that leaves five veterans who can lead their own teams to Quest. The teams will be amply provided with Stones to use thanks to pooling them into a common resource pool for all Baphomets. For the riskiest task of stealing semi-protected Relics, the team will also include a guard for extra muscle. After the team composition is decided, there is an intense round of swapping and trading of equipment between teams.
Team 'pocket change' tasked with stealing easy-to-take Relics. It is a large group of apprentices and journeymen led by one veteran Guide. They look so fresh-faced and innocent. One of them turns out to be a recent arrival. A newly formed Baphomet born in the wilderness of Logres managed to wander into Camelot on his own. There have been the odd new Baphomets joining Camelot, so the population is expanding slowly. You never did do a census on just how many Baphomet you have.
Team 'Feline' tasked with recharging your cellphone and seeing how much Backlash generates with Lady Kizaemon. When you hand over the charger and your cellphone, you emphasize the importance of returning with the cellphone and your cat, no matter what happens. You even ask them to recruit friendly cats if possible.
Team 'Sheep' tasked with gathering Mana from weak animals. It's not going to be a very lucrative mission, but every little bit counts. Also, it'd be nice to expand the flocks of sheep. Clothing can be created from the wool, and you are damned tired of being underdressed!
