>>6191349>>6191347>How to gamify OPERA PUNK??Ok I just invented the most peculiar and cringe rpg notion ever conceived lol imagine this: so the dystopian setting I described is that malevolent corporate AI has ingested / regurgitated all voice and language etc it is no longer possible to listen or speak or communicate etc without being subjugated to The Incredible Algorithmic Machine Surveillance Evil etc, so what to do?
Remember in the first Assassins Creed game where the xbox controller buttons are literally for your left / right feet, hands?
What if you made some CHOREOGRAPHY rpg because the OPERA PUNKS have abandoned all human vocal communication because that has been algorithmically repurposed by the machines, the only means they have to communicate is through AVANT GARDE DANCE lol
So your attributes are now
HEAD
TORSO
GROIN
ARMS (hands?)
LEGS (feet?)
Each attribute is just your agility / motor control over a body part
And you have skills like this
THRUST
WRITHE
SWAY
SHUDDER
TWIST
FLAIL
SPASM
TREMBLE
...
etc lol. (Maybe players can improvise or write-in some of these) So the gameplay consists of trying to combine a skill check which is (BODY PART) + (MOTION) remember, you cannot speak any words or literally say the thing you are doing directly (ie "I punch the guard / enforcer with my fist etc") because then the auto tagging (gait recognition?) evil surveillance algorithm drones will steal your soul. All you can do is wriggle around with your experimental avant garde dance moves and attempt to indirectly and surreptitiously convey your emotions through your body parts and shudderings, somehow the GM has to attempt to decipher what you are trying to do from the context of the situation (ok, maybe if you pass the skill check, you can just reveal to the GM what you intended etc ie I parkour / vault over the barricade whereas if you fail, you cannot reveal your chosen course of action, the GM just narrates you flailing around and flopping against the walls or humping the floor)
Gif related is the protagonist dance troupe girl from Dario Argento Suspiria (1977), the dancer women in this film are super attractive yay
Lol maybe this system is just too weird lol but you could try it for say one dance / choreography scene. Also I just remembered that Ubisoft Prince Of Persia (2008) with the breathtaking Cirque du Soleil acrobatic battle / dance moves between the Prince and Elika his partner, maybe just one scene like these dice roll mechanics in a game with the contrived inverse kinematics animated movement chain manipulation system lol. The stage design is Es Devlin lol lol
