The room mead hall that they had left roughly half an hour ago was buzzing with activity between the two groups. From the Space Wolves a series of growling laughs came as the sound of false voices came into the air from the Acillians. An odd grouping they all were but ultimately both sides found companionship in the fact that they fought against the enemies of man and feared the evils that were before it.
Walking into the room the entire hall fell silent as the wolf-man Leman Russ smashed into a table a Helfrost Axe. The weapon quickly chilled the spot in which it was struck with a permafrost that would never leave the wooden boards. Behind him the Lord of Machines took a seat next to where the weapon was struck.
Instead of taking a seat upon the table Leman Russ placed a single foot on the table so that his presence could not be ignored by the most wayward of Tech Priest, “Vlka Fenryka and Acillians, come around and witness a battle that shall forever be sung in the Sagas for as long as the Wolves of Fenris draw breath! My Brother, TalOS DAV1S, has admired the work of Fenris so much that he agreed to the same three Challenges the Emperor has before him. Not even my brother, Horus Lupercal, could not find himself up for such a challenge!”
And like that the room began to rumble in a roar of howls and growls from the Space Wolves as each of them quickly started to surround the table. The Acillians instead started pinging information between one another while also getting permission from the nearest Tech Priest to broadcast this event to all within the noosphere.
Seeing that he gathered the crowd he did, Leman Russ declared, “First shall be the Feast of Feasts! Bring as much food before us and let us see whether it is me or my brother who devours the most beast hide!”
Such words brought a moment of chaos from the Space Wolves as they quickly started gathering the requested foods. As they did so a small exchange took place between the brothers that a few heard.
“You are quite the showman brother. I shall be utilizing these methods when I interact with the Knights of Dutonis for they’d blush at such flattery.”
“Showmanship, ha!” The Wolf King barked as he sat down, “This is but an inkling of what it takes to be a Jarl upon Fenris. None will join you if you do not inspire in them the legends of ancient warriors such as our own Father.”
“I shall categorize such an opinion in the Archives on Lucius, brother. I am sure the Skitarii would find such words inspirational.”
The Wolf Lord’s smile never left him, “Your tongue is the sharpest of the Machine Cult Brother.”
