The male warrior priest, a knight and a holy man both in their strange custom, has become involved in the archer incident. There are no more reports of skipping coins in the sea waves, instead it seems the archer has become an avid gambler. This shared vice has done much to win them over to the crew. A new rumour has started, as they can be expected, that the archer is in fact a woman in disguise. I’ve asked Yori to encourage the men to refrain from spreading such are harmful rumour, given I understand warrior women as taboo in Cantôn custom as it is in Langland.

Another day of ordinary weather, if this takes a turn for the worst we will have to consider taking shelter in one of the many coves. This is not my preferred course, a ship in shelter can also prove to be trapped by a lurking buccaneer.
The Cantôn knight was heard to mutter and thrash about in his sleep last night, the noise being heard from his rack in the spare room by the cabin boy on night watch. Apparently, the knight’s servant later refused Yori entry into the cabin, assuring him these fits typically passed quickly. Hardly worth noting in the log, except Yori reports that the knights servant boy had a sheathed sword in his hand when he answered the door.

The weather turned for the better. Another week at this rate we should be nearing the Cathagi Strait.
I have given yesterday’s entry some thought and decided not to take it any further. Yori is right that barring access, but the Andrei knight is now more a friend than a mere passenger and I will not embarrass by raising his servant boy’s vigilance surrounding his masters troubled sleep. Intriguing but not, I think, a matter that requires further investigation.
