>>5323631“Guh. D-Dammit.” you exhale, feeling several stronger powerlevels vanish as your projectiles crust many of the monsters hiding in the forest. But they're lowest on your priority list, you turning around and glaring down at the swordsman who'd slashed you. He seems shocked, not the least of which by the fact you're still alive after his attack, and takes an uncertain step back as you drop down out of the air directly in front of him. He's holding his ornamental sword in both hands, looking nervously at you as you snarl through clenched teeth. “If you interfere again, I will kill you. Do I make. Myself. Clear?”
The swordsman doesn't answer, you seeing the tip of his blade trembling slightly as he looks nervously at you. You glare for several more seconds, then wordlessly turn from him back to the sight of your wife's attack. And see that, indeed, she's grown more powerful than the Demon King General just judging by the results. Most of the wall is now simply gone, small stones along the ground revealing where it was. And so you step out into the remains of the wall, and hold your staff overhead in both hands begin channeling your magical power before slamming it blade-first into the ground.
“CRYSTAL MAGIC: PALEDRAKE'S LAIR!!” you bellow, and unleash one of the strongest spells in your arsenal. Magical crystals spread out across the ground and the remaining stones of the wall, you shaping them out into the shape of the wall your wife had demolished. Once you've covered the ground, you begin building the crystals up. It is slow going, creating literal tons of magical crystals into the ten foot thick wall more than forty feet across. You hear the surprised murmurs of the soldiers and mages all around, your magic no doubt impressing them as you pour more and more energy into the strongest fortification you've built to date. You've never created so much crystal in such a short time, even when building your own home, the walls were only a couple feet thick at the widest. But you refuse to stop, pouring everything you've got into the spell.
Ten feet tall, then twenty, then thirty, you keep sustaining the effort even as you feel your magic power dwindling as you near closer and closer to the tops of the other walls. Using so much power so quickly is leaving you exhausted, and that combined with the blood loss from your earlier injury, feel yourself drop down to a knee. But you don't quit, and keep pouring more and more magic into it until at last, your effort is finished. The wall has been fully rebuilt! Your newly made crystal wall stands just as tall as the other outer walls, a gleaming testament to your power as you exhaust yourself, slumping over onto your side as everything starts going dark. Looks like you've outdone yourself.
