Instinctively you drum out a low beat on your knee, the tinny music resounding out from the box as you two sing together. You smile, the sad words so familiar. You found it strange to have even forgotten them, they flowed before you could really recognize them. You even overtook her, leading the song and giving her a break from carrying you vocally.
