Was that the ability of his Crest? To regenerate? No, you didn’t think so. It seemed to only activate upon inflicting suffering to others. He was draining both life and energy from you each time he activated Chevalier. That would explain the sudden loss of limb power earlier when he’d grasped your shoulder.
“Bàsaich.” He says as he readies to strike you again with his Labrys.
Your hand shoots up and constricts around Nathaniel’s throat, squeezing tightly. Suddenly Crowley’s words make a lot more sense. Finish the job? Gladly.
You squeeze Nathaniel’s throat with all your might, until something pops. The man croaks grotesquely, dropping his axe to the ground. He grabs your outstretched hand, planning to activate his Crest once more, but you do not give him the chance. You cock the Hammer back, and bring it full force down on the Dagdan’s head. This time, it's his skull that pops. One hit is all it takes to pulverize it in a crimson explosion. He falls out of your grasp. You didn’t envision him recovering from that one.

Had he used it already, and if so, would Butch even notice?
You were wounded badly, and needed immediate healing. The thought of jumping in to help Butch comes to mind, but you might need to help yourself here first.
