>>5328867>Suggest stalling however you can – talk to people that know the system.“We should try stalling,” you say. “So, we have more time to think about it.”
“Yūshūkan has already started the process,” Oryou warns. “Depending on how hard they press we may not have a chance to stall them. It might be better to at least choose.”
“Do we even have any way to stall?” Saemonza muses aloud.
“That depends on if any of us know how to use the court,” Erwin points out. They look amongst themselves before looking to you.
“I’m not Japanese,” you remind them.
“I just figured since you know a lot…” Caesar begins.
“Not about courts or law – or the Japanese courts, sorry,” you remind them getting a round of curses.
“Don’t be sorry, be better,” Erwin states. You don’t know what to say, but then all four of them burst out laughing.
“Ha, ha,” you say. “On a more serious note, what can we do?”
“We’ll file our own application,” Caesar states. “We can purposefully make a mistake or two and blame it on being school kids – they’ll throw both applications out and make us start again.”
“They won’t just fix the mistakes and move on?” You ask.
“Japanese courts are too exacting,” Caesar says, shaking her head. “They’ll throw it out to punish us.”
“Which is exactly what we want,” you state.
“Bingo,” Erwin nods. “We’ll still need to make a decision though.”
>“As far as I can tell, they’re offering the same thing so I’m fine with either.”>“Yūshūkan is the one pressing us, so as far as I’m concerned we should go with Kure.”>“Kure is nice, but working at a university is a nice backup plan in my opinion.”>Write-inFeel free to keep voting on the second choice.
