Guilliman felt his hearts skip as he heard those words. He looked squarely upon TalOS as he remembered those words over and over again. It was a truth that was completely and utterly irrational for someone like Guilliman to realize was the truth of the universe.
“You are giving me this Titan?” Guilliman asked as he grasped to confirm the previous statement.
“Yes.” TalOS answered simply in a way that no questions could be made about it, “I am aware that you are to be a ruler of your realm. Thus you will want the greatest weapons to protect that realm from outsiders who might seek it harm. For that, I grant you an Avatar of the Machine God himself.”
Guilliman looked at TalOS with a sense of awe within his eyes. He thought, with good reason, that he might have soured his relationship with his brother upon denying him his bounty of servitor stock. He was wrong though, Guilliman realized, for TalOS gave him a powerful weapon for his people.
“I… I am honored to have it.” Guilliman told his brother while placing his hand upon his chest, “The entire world of Macragge thanks you for this gift TalOS. With this weapon I can leave my homeworld content that no threat will be able to overwhelm the garrison that I leave it.”
“Not all threats will fall to it.” TalOS pointed out with the knowledge of a veteran Princeps, “But it is a good start.”
Guilliman knew that the tales of TalOS’s gift giving spirit was true to a fault. To think that he would give a Titan of all things to his brother though rattled the Primarch’s mind. Guilliman was prepared though.
“For you brother, I do not have anything material.” Guilliman admitted as he handed his brother a small device, “But I do have the cogitators of my people and the STCs that we employ. May you find something there of benefit.”
He watched his brother smile as the device between them lit up with a data transfer logo. The red eyes of his brother were looking at something Guilliman could not see. When they were finished looking they settled upon Guilliman with a smile, “I thank you for this information Brother, I shall start using this information right away.”
“I look forward to seeing these wondrous machines when I return.” Guilliman told his brother.
“Until the next time you step upon Lucius’s soil.” TalOS answered him.
The two gripped each other's arms and shook them. Agreement between the two of them was reached.
